The Grey Abbey Endurance Challenge on 18 July 2026 is based at the beautiful Grey Abbey Estate in Greyabbey, Co. Down.

This running event includes 3, 6, and 12 hour options that cater to every level of endurance enthusiast. Participants run as many course loops as they can run in their chosen time.

The course is an approximate 5.5km loop with 142 feet gain, starting at the Paddock Field base and is a mix of private laneways, forest trail and a section of open field. Underfoot is 90% forest trail and 10% tarmac.

There is also an option for a 5km or 10km distance.

Trails shoes are recommended. Runners will be based in their own cars, tents or gazebos in the Paddock Field adjacent to the start area. Portable toilet facilities will be on site.
