The Irish Runner 5K on 16 May 2026 is the first event in the 2026 Athletics Ireland Race Series at Phoenix Park in Dublin.

This 5km route will take participants through the park starting on Chesterfield Avenue and finishing on The Furze Road.

The event incorporates the National 5K Championships.

Each event in the series will be chip timed and will include a finishers medal. Non-Athletics Ireland Members will require a One Day License to take part in these events (can be added when registering).
