Storming the Castle on 23 August 2026 is an annual 10km road race in Carrickfergus, Antrim.

Starting outside the Carrickfergus Amphitheatre, the route takes runners on the picturesque promenade along the Marine Highway and waterfront areas, overlooking the marina and with views of Belfast Lough, before finishing at the 12th Century Norman Castle near Carrickfergus Town centre.

As well as the main race, there is also a 1km Kids' Fun Run for 4-9 year olds and a 2km Junior Race for 10-14 year olds.

This event is organised by Seapark AC.
