Mutton Island Entrance, Galway

Run/Walk Road/Path/Park

Run in the Dark in Galway, Ireland is part of a worldwide run at 8pm local time over 24 hours on Wednesday, 13 November 2019.

Join hundreds of fellow runners in Galway to Run in the Dark. The run will take place on the Salthill Promenade at 8pm. This year’s Galway run will again be championed by Joanne Sweeney-Burke.

Blind adventure athlete Mark Pollock had a fall which left him paralysed in 2010. Shortly after the accident, his friends created the Mark Pollock Trust to support him on his mission to find a cure for spinal cord injury using robotic exoskeletons combined with medical research. Your Run in the Dark entry fee will go to the Mark Pollock Trust to help fuel this ambition.
