The Clare Burren Marathon Challenge is a spectacular Marathon, Half Marathon and 10km trail challenge across the beautiful scenic Burren on 23 May 2026.

Starting on the seafront in Ballyvaughan, this event is set in one of nature’s most extraordinary landscapes with its vast rocky pavements and incredible array of Arctic, Alpine and Mediterranean flora.

The marathon and half marathon routes are on a combination of road and cross country terrain. The 10km route is all on road.
