The Gaelforce West Adventure Race on 13 June 2026 is a 68km run, cycle and kayak along the rugged coastline of the Wild Atlantic Way.

From the start line in the beautiful Inagh Valley by way of Killary Fjord, to the top of Croagh Patrick mountain and on to the finish line in Westport, there is simply nothing to rival this spectacular linear route through the heart of Connemara.

Terrain is bog and grassland tracks, sea, road and open mountain.

Gaelforce West is the most iconic of adventure races in Ireland - the original and still the one on everyone’s bucket list. It may push you to your limits and beyond, but you will never regret it.
