The Griffith Avenue Mile is a one mile road race on Marino's Griffith Avenue in Dublin on 20 September 2026.

The event is for runners of all levels young and old and it involves closing off a stretch of Griffith Avenue in Dublin to traffic for several hours on the day.

You can participate in the Family fun run/walk, Solo fun run (not timed) or the Chip Timed race.

The 2026 event also hosts the National One Mile Road Championship

This event is organised by Marino Athletics Club, in association with Athletics Ireland, proudly supported by Dublin City University, Dublin City Council and sponsors.
