The Gullion Way Ultra Marathon on 4 July 2026 is a 64km run along an historic route starting and finishing in Newry.

This challenging course offers the unique experience of running the Gullion Way as part of an organised event. There are many hills which reward you with amazing mountain views overlooking the Ring of Gullion and the landscape of South Armagh. Along the way you pass Clontygora Court Grave, Moyry Castle, Killeavy Old Churches, Craigmore Viaduct and Slieve Gullion Forest park. Runners traverse the slopes of Fathom Mountain, Black Mountain, Camlough Mountain and Slieve Gullion (The Ring of Gullion's highest peak).

The route is approximately 90% road and 10% Trail. The majority of the roads are quiet, rural country roads. Cut off times apply.
