The annual Irish 3/4 Marathon on 4 October 2026 is a fantastic running experience in Longwood, Co. Meath.

The certified 31.6km / 19.6 mile route is scenic, challenging and an ideal distance for those training for a full marathon. It is held on quiet country roads with no significant climbs and twice crosses the Boyne and Blackwater rivers and the Royal Canal. It passes historical sites such as Castlerickard Church (Burial crypt of Jonathan Swift’s family) and Donore Castle.

Located just 30 mins from the M50 and convenient for access from main road networks.
