The North West Coastal Challenge on 3 October 2026 is a Multisport Adventure Race event in Co. Donegal.

The 2026 event includes 2 race options - The 54km Challenge and the 34km Sprint. The course is based on rugged, picturesque northwest coastline based from Dunfanaghy.

The Challenge includes a 5.5km run, a 33km cycle, a 2.5km run and a 13km cycle back to the finish. The Sprint race starts with the same 5.5km run as the Challenge at the start, followed by a 28.5km cycle.

The first run for both distances is a dune run to Tramore beach and back. The second run in the Challenge event is an amazing 2.5km trail run. The cycle sections are undulating and scenic, held are on public tarmac roads.
