The Shandrum AC 5K Road Race on 28 December 2025 is a popular annual event in Newtownshandrum, Co Cork.
The course is a circular route, starting by Newtownshandrum church, through the village with 2 left turns featuring a climb at 3km, looping back towards the village. The final kilometre is downhill and finishes at the GAA hall.
The race is chip timed and officially measured.
