The Great Railway Run on 25 April 2027 is a 25km road running event starting in Cork city and finishing in Carrigaline.

The predominantly flat course follows the route of the old railway line, passing through Blackrock, Mahon, Rochestown, Passage, Monkstown, Raffeen and Shanbally before finally chugging into Carrigaline.

This charity event is organised by the Carrigaline & District Lions Club with the support of Carrigaline AC.

The event starts at Monahgan Road. The finish line is at the Lions Youth Centre, Church Road, Carrigaline.
