The Mile Marker on 7 June 2026 is an annual road race which takes place at Danesfort, Co Kilkenny.

The course is a looped course - 1 loop for the 5 mile and 2 loops for the 10 mile. It’s a very fair course, no hills but a couple of rolling sections. The last 2.5kms of the loop is extremely flat.

There is also a 1 mile dash for families and kids.

The event raises funds for the St. Michael's National School, Danesfort.
