The Village Run in Ballylinan on 27 September 2026 takes runners on super flat courses in the lovely Laois countryside.

Choose from a 3/4 Marathon (31.6km), Half Marathon, 10km or 5km distance starting/finishing at Ballylinan GAA.

The 5km course follows a scenic path through meadows and along quiet country roads. The 10km extends further into the countryside with beautiful views of the surrounding landscape.

The Half Marathon explores the countryside around Ballylinan, passing through neighbouring villages and featuring gentle hills that provide spectacular views of County Laois. The 3/4 Marathon is a challenging 31.6km route takes you on a comprehensive tour of the beautiful countryside.

All distances are chip timed and the event is open to runners and walkers of all abilities and ages.
